I am trying to keep the Evap monitor from resetting by keeping the truck over. I get it, but the systems are too fallible and convoluted to debug. If the fuse blows the light comes on and the ABS system is not working. Evap not ready but no codes My 2003 F150 4.6 wouldnt pass emissions testing last week due to the OBDII not being ready to test. Learned that the hard way a few cars back.

I remember for my MKIV GTI and for most of the older GM pickups I've owned, for example, there was a crazy series of driving conditions you had to go through. For most vehicles, the EVAP monitor is last to complete. I don't know what the drive cycle is to passively force EVAP to fully test, but it's something you can normally force the vehicle to test instantly using a proper diag tool.
